The new partnership between Newcastle United Foundation and Newcastle City Council has allowed us to expand our ’Shot Stoppers’ Goalkeeping Centre.

This programme involves a full range of position-specific techniques including:

• Basic handling & footwork

• Shot stopping

• Dealing with crosses

• Communication

• Distribution - kicking and throwing skills Players will work within technical and skill practices plus small-sided games.
